All --

Having recently completed a few major scenes on my layout, I have taken to
detailing them with various cans, bins, tires, and other detritus. What a
chore! I have accumulated what I thought was a lot of this stuff over the
decades, all unpainted/unweathered. I have now used up nearly half of it, and
the scenes still look naked. The other day Gerry Evans told me he took three
months off from building structures just to concentrat on painting "junk." I
believe him! I need to acquire another 2-1/2 months worth of "junk," paint it,
and glue it in place. This is not fun!
