Robyn's experience reflects the reason I made the decision to enter S scale, 
as well.  Purchasing an example of SHS's SW9/1200 for a look see did it for 
me.  Now I own three SHS SW products as well as four AM S-12's.  Did I 
mention I like switchers? <g>

Coming from a long history with HO, I liken the AM products to the blue box 
Athearn, and the SHS to Kato or Proto 2000.
