Ed,

For the record, I would have much rather have been at the convention drinking
beer(s) with you and my Father (my railroad's purchasing agent).  But, since it
didn't work out this year I figured I would make a little progress on the
layout in honor the big "S" week.  I will shoot some video a little later as
there is still much work to be done and I have to figure out how to load the
videos to You Tube....I will try to snap a few pictures of the fast tracks
turnouts and the curves and post them to the group over the next few days.

As you were toiling away, your Dad and I were drinking beer in Duluth. Y'see,
conventions do have some advantages -- good liquid refreshments. Yes, we were
talking about you to some extent. Any chance for a video showing the stack cars
swinging into the superelevated curves? Sam Powell used to have layout with a
superelevated S-curve so the cars leaned to the left and then swung over and
leaned to the right as they were traveling toward the viewer. Neat...!! Having
fun....Ed L.
