Ed..

I agree based on what I know about John B. and this project. Bill, how did he
"lose his butt"? Ed is correct as I understand the situation. You guys just
touched a hot button for me.

I worked with John early on getting him LOTS of data/photos (as did Lee
Johnson, I believe). I certainly try not to trash anyone's rep, but there is
NEVER, NEVER a good excuse for simply taking other people's hard-earned deposit
money for yourself. So far, that is what has happened. In the real world that
is know as theft.

A very few angry folks got their money back or his brass gons in trade. The
rest of us, who still had faith in John doing the project, were simply strung
along (because John asked us to be patient) and we are now out thousands of
bucks for trusting the guy. I've saved dozens of his emails to prove that
point. Ya never really know about someone until money enters the equation. In
this case, John took deposits thru PayPal, so I doubt he will ever be able to
use eBay again. We all have a clear track record of the deposit payments to
Cryer-Grey. If we add up the total dollars paid, it probably constitutes some
serious money as a fraud perpetrated across state lines. Think about that JB.

This has happened before in S and probably will again, even when we have total
trust in the individual overseeing the project. There's still no excuse for
stealing money in this hobby or in the world at large. You can't simply write
this off as "just business".

I'm still waiting for John to answer my last email on refunds (9 months ago).
