My last conversation with John Botten (many many moons ago) was that he was 
still discussing the project with BOO RIM.  At that time there was no agreement.

Yes, it could be that, but I have no knowledge of that since addtional 
conversation with John was not possible afterwards.  He refused to discuss the 
matter anymore.

Like you, Bill, I do believe John started out with good intentions, but the 
track record of peaked-end hoppers, C&O signal bridges, 0-6-0 locos, etc. 
speaks for itself.  Had I made a deposit, I would be very upset just like Bob 
Hogan.

Fortunately, I still have some money and placed an order with River Raisin 
Models for the USRA 0-6-0.  Just hoping it really happens at this point.
