I have a couple pair of them that I use as scenic elements around my 
enginehouses.  Their rolling qualities are about the same as the Rex 
trucks with straight axles--poor at best!  I've never heard of anybody 
tapering off the axle ends and inserting them into SHS's plastic-like 
bearing, but if one were to insist on those trucks, that should do the 
trick.

I think the original Rex Suburban engine used the Culp Andrews truck 
under it's tender.
