Bill,  The original owner of Ace contracted with Lionel to produce the 3 
bay along with several other body styles.  There are thousands out there 
just molded in gray plastic, obviously without T & C.  The original 
price was just a few dollars but could also be had with Ace bolsters and 
trucks--sort of a "redo it kit".
