I've never delt with any AM/SHS issues, but I've had some trouble with 
SHS wheelsets that were provided with some PRS reefers with the ASF? 
trucks.  The car would ride down the track with a lean.  You could 
straighten it, but after some running the lean would be evident again.  
When I swapped out trucks, either to SHS metal trucks or the 'other' 
pre-assembled PRS trucks the lean was pretty much gone.  I can only 
guess that the shape of conical depression on the sideframe let the 
needle portion of the axle seek it's lowest point on one end of a curve 
but it wouldn't reset back to normal position without my help.
