Bill, Think of the fun you could have modeling the dual gauge from Alamosa to Antonito! Lots of switching, std. gauge engines with n.g. cars and vice versa! Now let's see, was that third rail on the east side or the west....?

All those narrow gauge mikes and consols could have used a standard gauge loco for comparison and interchange. Some of them were even set up as dual gauge switchers. It would have been HIGH on my list 20 years ago... Bill Winans ..., the only other O scale 2-8-0's that come to mind are the PFM D&RGW C-48 (absolutely lovely model but usually going for more than I care to pay),...
