The H6sb--a most attractive smaller 2-8-0 (although not so small as the shortline types) and a good candidate for brass, but SHS had to think of a prototype that would sell more than the 100-150 units typical of an S scale brass import (and very likely about the right number for that market) to justify the very considerable investment in dies for both the zamac and plastic parts.
I own one of the Westside H6sb's in O scale (imported in the 1980's, along with the B&O E-24, which offered the correct variant details) and Sunset imported both PRR and B&O again in the late 1990's, adding the L-1 0-8-0 conversions; I also own a CLW H10 kit (finished one, sold it, replaced it with this one). I also own a USH UP/Harriman 2-8-0, a Sunset ATSF #1950 class 2-8-0, and a PSC Ma&Pa/BLW stock light 2-8-0 (my primary shortline steam power). Surprisingly, in all the years O scale has been around, there has never been a commercial kit for the E-27, although the master builder Ken Henry apparently produced several, perhaps as many as ten or twelve. For such a common prototype wheel arrangement (a previous post indicated, probably correctly, that more were manufactured than any other single type) with so common an operational presence, it is surprising also that it has been underrepresented in commercial models. In addition to the above, the only other O scale 2-8-0's that come to mind are the PFM D&RGW C-48 (absolutely lovely model but usually going for more than I care to pay), the old Thomas smaller one (freelanced using his C-16a components, but quite attractive, nonetheless, and a frequent starting point for customizing), and the very old pre-WWII Megow NYC prototype (one can be seen in the photos of Frank Ellison's classic Delta Lines)--and several versions of the SP C-classes by Sunset and PSC. And the Weaver clunker. And I own two of Don's E-27's, although fortuitously neither is lettered B&O, and one of Bill Wade's Ma&Pa #42 kits--one of those without the Elesco FW heater on the nose would be close to one of the H&BTM locomotives John Armstrong mentions.
