I always thought that the brass importers missed a good bet when they never
followed through with the C-48 in S. All those narrow gauge mikes and
consols could have used a standard gauge loco for comparison and
interchange. Some of them were even set up as dual gauge switchers. It
would have been HIGH on my list 20 years ago...
