Ron is not a hinderance to S scale. He is an enabler. He has helped other
manufacturers like MLW Services get their products out in many ways. He is
very easy to work with. I really take issue with people who hand out negative
comments on this list without thinking. Usually I keep my mouth shut but in
this case, I felt it necessary.

The new Des Plaines kit is the 40' Fowler Single Sheathed Fowler car which will
be a great addition. It is not too far off from the CNR 1929-1939 boxcars. It
would just need steel 4/4 ends and a few detail changes to make it acceptable.

As far as web pages go, it is really glib to suggest a small operation hire
someone to do the pages when most monies and time have to go into production of
new product. I do my own web pages and have to divide my time up between
pattern work, CAD drawing, packaging etc.

Sacramento was great. MLW could not take much down on a plane for sales
purposes but that was the most efficient way to go. Instead we showed new
product like express reefer trucks and tender sideframes cast in pewter as well
as the freight and express reefer pilot models.

As Bill Wade said, if you want to see something that I offer and it is not on
the site, please email me offlist and I will send the photos.
