Hi Ken!

Well... perhaps you can take heart in the fact that by me knowing you're
feeling like a putz, too... helps me to not feel like I'm the only putz.
Sort of like a common bond of Putzdom, perhaps?

<snip: the tale of the traveling toys>

LOL! I've never thought of "Round Robin Trading" before. However, I DO
remember selling something to hobbiest friend... and later buying it back!

> I can't help you with MP F units....

Absolutely no biggie, there. My "Regrets" post was more of a personal muse
about times past. Currently my hobby funds are commited... so I really
can't be in the market for more stuff at this time.

You're welcome! Typically, I enjoy sharing when I have something to
share... or... even when I don't have something to share. :-)

Industrial switching is a butt saver. I am SO GLAD I stumbled into the
concept. It really is a boon to the fellow that lacks much space in which
to have a layout. I am so convinced about it being a sound concept, that
should the time ever come that I can have a dedicated out building for my S
scale stuff... it would again be this same KC Lines theme, only enhanced
with better scenes and a visible staging yard w/eng service area where the
transfers can originate/terminate (i.e. assembled/disassembled). Wow... I
salivate to think what I could do in a measely 10' x 24' out building using
the urban industrial area theme!

However... the reality is: I need to get this small layout up and running,
as well as decently equipped, to prove to myself that I still have the
initiative and energy to be a bonefide modeler. No need to even consider
sinking funds into an out building if I can't muster the energy to further
this little layout!

LOL!

Enjoyed your note, Ken. Thanks for sharing.
