That's what I was afraid of. Nothing against the existing mfgs. as they are 
excellent, but IMO they would not compete for the same dollars.  Also, more 
model choices just makes it that much easier to draw more people into S as you 
would mitigate the main concern of limited product availability.  I know I am 
in the minority, but I have been modeling in several other scales for over 30 
years and I think the one major hurdle that keeps HO and O scale modelers out 
of S is lack of product diversity.  Most scale modelers want to model a 
specific road or two.  That is difficult to do in S.  I hope Scott gives it 
another shot with a different model that has more broad based appeal.

As of 7:30 PM last night the "S" scale engines are cancelled. Scott feels that 
the "S" scale market doesn't want a Chevy in the market place. He feels that if 
the "S" scale modelers want only a Caddy then so be it. Scott was welling to 
work with the "S" scale market and was hoping to offer other engines inthe 
futureif this project was a go.
