I appreciate the frustration with not getting something produced that you
want/need. I also wonder how much the age of our"S" folks play into this
and/or the uncertain or non-existant economy, depending on circumstances,
might have to do with this. As I wrote previously, I have no real need
for west coast railroading locomotives in the days before "run-through"
power, AND I know the PRR leased steam power from the Santa Fe shortly before
they "dropped the fires". PRR "hoggers" loved those engines, oil fired,
operating much less effortlessly than coal fired power did.
A friend of mine had a "Black Friday" type sale, which he does so very
well, last week. THAT should tell you something.
I live in Lancaster Co, PA, the economy is all over the place here,
depending on individual circumstances, IRENE having helped some businesses
immensely , because of the influx of evacuees from Delaware & New Jersey. I
thought the Jersey folks evacuated to here every weekend anyway. My SJSG
buddies might dispute that??

BTW, Hurricane coming, take the window A/C's out that face the wind.
About a pint of water came thru mine.
