Six or eight months ago I offered to scan and post a set of the Northeastern
sheets for their ventilated ("watermelon") boxcar (never had the kit, just the
sheets, picked up goodness-know-where), along with the Amity instructions from
their re-run--even that was some years ago--picked up from the estate Hoquat
handled. There are some significant differences in construction between the
two. Just for information, I also have one of the Zimmer kits for the same
prototype in O scale stashed away for my declining years.
I bought an Amity stock car kit (I think the time I visited Don Heimburger's
store a couple of years ago); unlike the ventilated boxcar, that kit makes no
mention of the earlier Northeastern, so it may differ as to prototype (I think
the kit says "AAR" stockcar).
