Gee willikers Batman! For this being the S Scale "down with American Flyer
and Lionel" Yahoo group ya'll are sure churning away with it.
FWIW Atlas O released diesels with a traditional 1 motor drive & more
recently a vertical motor per truck drive. I would much prefer the
traditional 1 motor drive myself. I heard the 2 motor drive came into play
when a former Lionel employee moved to Atlas. One friend does not mind the 2
motor drive & another one hates it with his every breath.
No carousing here is going to sway any Lionel design decision in any
direction but you can sure chat it up for another few weeks...
