Last I looked, American Flyer trains are (for the most part) 1:64 proportion, 
3/16" scale, which as I recall is somewhere around "S."

Seems to me that some of Circle L's new offerings are worthy of dicussion here, 
although they may not fit some folks extremely narrow view of S scale.

It's not like we're talking cow-on-track or Gabe the lamplighter here...
