Has anyone tried converting an AF 6-axle crane to scale using, if you can find
them, the Kemtron brass 6-wheel brass trucks of the 1960s or something else?

had a 250 ton Bucyrus Erie crane (and attendant car). Please think about one
for S. Every time I play my copy of "Danger Lights" I go nuts hoping for one.

diesel? Here’s a link to a few pictures. I believe the mighty NYC also had AB
250 tonners!

point for a scale conversion. Its pretty accurate as far as I can see. Needs
some additional styrene to fill in the gaps left from the removal of the huge
thumb wheels and some fine cable to replace the string (hey Bob, another source
of some string for ya!) A good pair of Buckeye trucks, some paint and decals
and being able to accept the lack of boom operation (those huge thumb wheels
are gone remember).
As far as I know, this is the only Industrial Brownhoist crane in any scale.
