Got a photo you can send me?  I have not seen the model you're referring to, 
but since you referred to the trucks as what appears to be TENDER trucks then 
it is possible that they are an excuse for BUCKEYE trucks, as Buckeye also made 
tender trucks.  Here are a few HO examples of Buckeye trucks... surely the ones 
on your model will resemble one of these :

Question!  What type of truck was used on the AF Brownhoist?  I've had 
one pretty much unmodified setting on a siding for several years.  It 
appears that the trucks they used are tender trucks--are they too light 
for that size crane?  I did put some ancient Rex wheelsets in the trucks 
and it has Kadee couplers, but dragging that thing around is like a 
"lead sled".
