I'm curious if the NASG has ever hired a professional marketing person. Ed K. says he discovered eBay and transferred assets from HO and O to S, which seems to contradict Roy's experience. Maybe it's the nature of yahoo groups, but we seem only to be pooling our anecdotal information.
I make my paltry wages from a self-owned business, teaching piano. I hired a friend of mine who does marketing for a dentist. She spent a couple of hours, developed a marketing plan for me that was all free advertising, and gave me a list of about 20 things I could do to improve my visibility in the market - things I never would have thought of myself. It seems like it would be money well spent out of my NASG dues to hire a marketing professional from outside the fold. -Michael Eldridge --- In [email protected], "Roy" <hoffmanroy@...> wrote: > > Actually we do manage to get the message out that there is more to S than AF. > It's like a runner who clears the first hurdle.
