Geeezzzz........
The guy asks if anyone offers details similar to what Cannon has in HO. Or, as
an alternative, he asks if any S company out there is considering doing that.
A reasonable question in my opinion.
The responses range from "go build it yourself" to "look at old magazines" to
"click this link" (to companies that offer parts DIFFERENT from what Cannon
offers).
If I was a newbie to S, I would feel this to be a rather unsatisfying response
to a reasonable question. Seems to me that a little more empathy towards his
situation would be nice.
Sorry to be such a pain today.
Yesterday, I received a single chime ALCO horn from a private stash after the S
manufacturer told me he was out of stock with no plans for a rerun. This is
not a pretty situation for any of us and we should be more cooperative and
understanding of what non-scratchbuilders are seeking. We are all in the same
boat together.
