Ed, You seem to forget one of my major "rules" for S scale kits: HO CAD files should exist first. I have not produced the HO C&O gon yet; the SR gon has been in production since March 2011. The C&O gon is on the list, just not risen to the top yet.
I am planning to produce a line of modern cars (read: built post-1960 in most cases) and those will not have an HO equivalent. Since the SR gon is already designed, why wait to offer it?
