Actually, there have been several on EBay recently.  I have been watching 
because I need one for Shops, to be driven by the Diamond Scale gears I got

Unfortunately, none of those listed have been 16”, which is my prototype’s 
length, so I built my own.  I am working on an article for “1:64 Modeling 
Guide” on how I did it.  I would recommend buying the Bowser if you can find 
one that is the right length.  I have been using a Bowser in McDoel yard, and 
it works great.

One reason for not mentioning it is that Bowser no longer makes/sells them. 
Another reason is that I have never seen one come up on eBay. Thus, it is 
nearly impossible to acquire one. Like all things in S, buy it when you can 
since it might be gone next week.
