  The only things that are scale specific are the diameter of the end of bridge 
wheels and the side castings. If they look good enough then a new  bridge can 
be made by narrowing the wooden bridge core. An O version would have longer 
length of side castings per scale foot so a 90 foot O version would make a 120 
foot S version.An HO version would probably be too small for S unless one was 
modeling old time locos as a 90 HO version would be a 66 foot S version with 
quite shallow bridge depth. 
  These are really pretty simple designs and can be made from scratch about as 
easy as looking for a bowser kit. All one really needs is the  bearing and 
shaft and a gearhead motor with rubber friction drive wheel.The bridge could be 
detailed with wooden or plastic shapes instead of the bowser cast 
pieces...DaveBranum
