Dear Ed,

You are right. I believe that there has not been an “S scale” model listed
since I’ve been searching. But since the Bowser bridge is supported on both
ends by wheels riding the pit rail, it should be able to support an S scale Big
Boy if long enough, regardless of the purported scale, I would think. Maybe
I’m missing something. I know for sure my Bowser TT handles my Mike, but then
it’s a “Light” Mike!

Regards, Roger

Hi Roger....

One of those Bowser turntables is HO and the other is O. Neither are genuine S
scale turntables as originally made by Bowser. Of course, the bridge can be
modified/rebuilt if the pit diameter (bridge length) is satisfactory for your
needs.

HO turntables might be quite suitable for smaller steamers, but I'd not want to
attempt a 4-8-4 on one of them.

Cheers...Ed L.
