Some of us look at the new Lionel U33c and see potential and opportunity; others apparently do not... so be it...
I've already figured out how to attach those roving pilots, Lionel made it easy. Of course if you have never bothered to inspect the U33 you wouldn't know that. It will take drilling 4 holes, nicely pre-located on the model, and crafting an approximate 0.030" spacer. Quite honestly they don't bother me as much as I expected in operation on the DPV layout's 48" curves, but the opportunity is there.
