Hi my name is Rachel Covington and this is my second post. In my first post the
reason I said "I know the electrical difference between the two" is because....

1. My G scale train running through my rose garden is battery operated.
2. My rather small On30 layout is DCC.
3. My more extensive N scale layout is DC.

I've been model railroading about 8 years now and while I still have the
occasional question I no longer really qualify as a newbie. As my question
didn't have any bearing on my background, I didn't feel the need to go into.
Sadly I am a product of our times and as a female cannot just start offering
information about myself to everyone over the internet. If this offends you,
join the club, it offends me as well.
Now I'm not trying to be impolite, but I have books and books on the hobby and
am familiar with the majority of whats been said. That is why I tried to make
my original question as specific ie yes or no, as possible.
Again, I appreciate the answers and info from so many sources. However, be
warned....now that I know how smart y'all are, I probably ask more questions in
the future.
As long as your flaming and swearing at me for this response doesn't last to
long :)

Be well, Rachel Covington.

Off to bar-b-que a mess of ribs with my uncle.
