Is it possible that some of the AM cars were simply blown up copies of
Athearn? Without verification that Athearn had got it right? That is
strongly suspected of the spine car ("trailer hauler").
I mentioned to Mr B once that he spelled brake wrong (break) on an
instruction sheet and he said that's the way Athearn spelled it.
