Ben....
Some folks reserve one power booster just for turnout motors. that way, if
there is a short circuit somewhere on the layout and the power booster for that
trackage shuts down, the turnout motors can still be operated. No need to stop
throwing switches just because of a derailment. As they say, "All things are
possible with good planning...." (Or something like that.)

I have lots of DCC circuit breakers so that shorts in one area have no effect
in other areas. They work fine. Costly, but do the job. The only dogs are
the ones from Arttista in 1:64 size. Look good.
