I was on one of my photo assignments. I had to shoot a semi-typical gun
spraying urethane. to get the lighting correct they shot the gun
directly at one of my strobes covered with a fabric box light, all on a
metal stand. These spray guns are commonly used to fill the void
between studs and in making form-fitting packing.
After the shot was made (a nice Texaco ad) I asked for the solvent to
clean my light stand and the fabric box light. He informed me that
urethane didn't have a solvent! Eventually UV light will destroy it but
that's about it.
I've had better luck with water soluble paints on urethane castings in
my modeling.

Maybe someone will tell me otherwise, but urethane is different from the
plastics used in injection molding. I don't think urethane crazes with
most
solvents. I typically use acrylics on resin models, but my choice
there was for
other reasons.
