Thanks, coalsmoker2194. I too have also bought a pair and they do look great. I 
will give them a chance to break in, that might loosen up that spring.

I've tried the large Accumate couplers. I bought a pack (2 Pair) just to 
evaluate. I liked the way they looked size wise, and the distance between the 
cars was really nice (sorry, didn't take a measurement, but it looked "right"), 
and no knuckle spring. I ordered a dozen more. (24 pair). When I got them on 
several cars, I was not impressed with their reliability. The cast on cat 
wisker springs seem to be way to stiff for reliable functioning. I had to ram 
some cars pretty hard to get them to couple up. S scale cars are heavy enough 
that you shouldn't have to "ram" them. They have been removed, except for the 
ones on the fronts of my FP7's for now.
