Jim:

I make my trees from last year's Goldenrod and hydrendga blossoms. They work
well, and seem to be long-lasting. The problem is, I've been painting them with
spray cans, and to do the number I feel I'm going to need can get expensive.
The paint does seem to seal them up. I have, or did have, some photos in the
photos section. I've also used photo backdrops with success, but that is an
expensive proposition as well. I've also done some abstract green and blue
painting of masonite panels, which works, if you don't look too close.

However the Rock Island "K&D" ran through the heavily wooded Des Moines River
Valley, and that is what I would like to replicate as much as possible.
