I haven't run it lately, but I have a Jon Beverige drive unit for an
Enhorning A-B set. Two big motors in the B unit connected by chain &
sprocket to the Hobbytown-connected multi-drive system powering two trucks
of both A & B units. Just lots of lead in the A unit.
Incidentally, Mr B told me the springs were not an effort to economize but
to reduce noise or vibration. And someone else said there's some kind of
double helix spring system with two concentric springs, one clockwise, the
other counter-clockwise, that he should have used.
