I was hoping that you decided to join me in building a battery storage
locomotive (remember; we discussed my Sn9mm battery storage loco on a previous
thread).

I'm not sure how much battery life you could get out of a battery that fits in
a climax.

I'm wondering if you could sandwich a metal rail (not necessarily a rail road
shaped rail, just a strip of metal) between the pieces of wood you're laying as
rails?

I'm pretty sure that the tops of timber rails were either treated or darkened
from friction burns since they always appear darker in pictures. You could use
this weathering to hide the metal strip.

Just a thought.

I can't wait to see the finished product.
