Are you absolutely sure that it is the Wavefront obj format? My guess is
that it's actually supposed to return a Python pickled object, which
usually has extension .obj.
As for exactly what to do, we should probably support some sort of saving
so that things are consistent. In other words, if c is an implicit plot,
then c.save() should work. Again, pickling is the thing to look up for
this.
