Thanks for the detailed analysis! Positive review on my behalf, assuming
the tests pass (I am running them now on 5.4 beta1)

PS: maybe we should use the same trick for category containment using
all_super_categories_as_set (if this is still in use). This also means
that we should investigate whether we could optimize further
UniqueRepresentation to speedify sets and dictionaries of such objects!
