 I forgot one change w.r.t. your implementation: Division is not
 implemented except for scalar divisors.

 Continuing the example from above:

 sage: p/X(3)
 1/3*y2^3*x10 + 2/3*y3*x1
 sage: p/p
 NotImplementedError                       Traceback (most recent call
 last)
 ...
 NotImplementedError: Fraction Fields of Symmetric Polynomial Rings are not
 implemented
