For what it is worth, I've begun looking at prereqs for cygwin by starting
with a minimal cygwin install and only adding packages when needed and am
posting results on the CygwinPort page.
In particular, something should be done for libiconv.
As far as the gcc spkg is concerned I got a segfault earlier after a few
hours.
Maybe that was just because of memory leaks and memory exhaustion, so Ive
relaunched a build now, but it takes hours...
