I don't remember why I am the owner of this patch, but let me congratulate
that you finally got it positively reviewed!
My main motivation for implementing stuff in Sage was that I wanted to
work on #11187. But I accidentally built it on top of this patch, so I
never finished it, and it never made it into main Sage. I hope to find the
motivation for working it out again!
