Yo,
I am impressed with your code: not a single line seems out of place. Could
you add a comment around this call to 'edge_iterator', to say that you
mean to deal with all (out-)neighbors with multiplicity?
Could you also add a doctest (possibly in a 'TESTS:' section) for those
directed/multigraph cases?
I believe that the graph part of your code is good to go, but I would like
to have Dima's input for the 'gap'-specific code.
