Thank you John. I cc'ed you on #10123. It looks like it will be relatively
easy to update the version, as there spkg-install is very simple. So
producing a new version should be very easy.
The current package name suggests this is based on code from November
2007, but the last commit to the repository is several months before then.
Anyway, hopefully #10123 will bring some benefits.
