Comment:

 Positive review from me for Dima's patch. (Feel free to revert in case you
 disagree.)

 Since the floating-point precision does (or should) not depend on the
 machine word width (or pointer size), it's better to not give different
 results for the doctest tagged with "32-bit" / "64-bit".

 (As mentioned above, by changing compiler flags I can make the original
 doctest fail on a 64-bit Core2 as well as make it pass on a 32-bit
 Pentium4 Prescott.)
