Would it help to try building with the Intel Fortran Compiler? It appears
to be [http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/non-commercial-software-
download/ free on Linux for non-commercial use], but I haven't tried to
download and install it. Or are we disallowed from using it, because Sage
might be used commercially?
