This might end up being "Report upstream to Intel!!" Some of you may be
old enough to remember the bug in the Intel i486 for floating point code.
I had one hell of a struggle with Dell to get the CPU replaced. Intel sent
me a 38 page document explaining why the bug was not of concern to most of
the scientific community. Even Intel were reluctant to replace the CPU,
but I finally got it replaced.
