Comment(by kcrisman):
I can't test it on OS X 10.6 Intel because I have upgraded in place so
much and get things like
{{{
gcc -L/Users/.../sage-4.6/local/lib -bundle -undefined dynamic_lookup
build/temp.macosx-10.6-i386-2.6/C/gsl.o
-L/Users/.../sage-4.6.1.alpha0/local/lib
}}}
with an error that they can't find the sage-4.6 folder - which makes
sense, because it's not there. So someone else might have to test this.
Just to put this down, the previous cvxopt didn't have an spkg-check, I
guess, because I reinstalled that and it successfully reinstalled (on the
PPC machine). Hopefully this issue is really easy to fix; it would be a
shame to upgrade cvxopt without it passing its new check, though on the
balance it sounds like having this ancient of cvxopt is tantamount to
being even worse than that.
