Thanks, KDC. I figured maybe I should peek inside, but was unsure just
what to look at. Next time.
I'm testing #10936 right now. I'll put this on top of it and see how that
goes. but I'm going to stay away from the numpy ticket. Too many cooks
already on that one. ;-)
