New description:
The aim is to add a gcc package to Sage. We probably don't want to always
build it, we would install it by default only on systems where this is
needed. This would replace the fortran package.

building c++. I guess then as long as we don't add this to the critical
path for most systems it should be fine. Do you have a current spkg that I
could look at?
