What has happened is such a shame. Last year, when a few of us objected to the many gadda's that were coming up with the consent of the the Panchayat and Communidade no one supported us.
A lot of people chose to sit on the fence. Its about time, we realized that we need to wake up and make some noise. More and more gadda's and encroachments are being allowed to come up and more and more people are going to be knocked down and even killed. By shying away from the reality we are only going to lose and hurt more and more people that walk on those roads every day. We should consider ourselves, as responsible as that bus driver for what has happened. By choice we shy away from confronting our elected members and this is the problem. They take all of us for granted and do what ever it takes to create an opportunity for making money and creating a vote bank. The state of affairs are so poor that for elected members, lives of people are not even worth considering. How can we just sit around and do nothing? Keith D'Souza.
