Dear friends
Many of you must have seen Fr.Freddy Da Costa's Niz mog. In that drama the
comedy was handled by Johnny de Saligao from Muddavaddi who is no more and
by brother Augustine D'Souza who later became full fledged priest. This
Fr.Augustine died yesterday and was burried at Chopddem this evening.Those
who knew him will definitely get a shock to hear about his death. He was
sick for some time in Remanso Hospital. I admired Fr.Augustine for his best
comedy. Those who had seen the concert really appreciated his comedy as one
of the best. May his soul rest in peace. Fr.Augustine served in Aldona,
Siolim, as an assistant parish priest and then became Vicar in Camurlim
church, calvim, and due to his ill health he was made the chaplain of Our
Lady of Piety chapel baga calangute.
